Description
Brief Introduction
The lifting rings on the frame of the YRKK series high-voltage motor are specifically designed for use with hooks and slings during transportation. Lifting or supporting the motor from the iron core laminations or coil areas is strictly prohibited. When lifting the entire motor, slings must be used to evenly distribute the weight. Additionally, a jackstay should be applied to keep the slings apart and prevent deformation of the top-mounted dust hood or cooler.
Improper handling during installation—such as careless use of cranes, hooks, or booms—can cause more serious damage than years of regular operation. Any impact or collision involving the shaft, coupling, or bearing components must be avoided, as such shocks can severely damage the bearings. Always ensure gentle and controlled lifting and transportation to prevent damage.
Before lifting, check the motor’s actual weight, which is indicated on the nameplate. Use the designated lifting lugs on the motor frame, secure the slings firmly, and avoid any jerking or sudden movements during the lifting process.
