Description
Brief Introduction
The insulation resistance of a 10kV high-voltage motor should be measured using a 2,500V megohmmeter. For embedded thermal detectors, a megohmmeter rated no higher than 250V should be used. Insulation resistance testing of the motor windings must be carried out under actual cooling conditions to ensure accuracy.
Unless otherwise specified in the main motor contract, technical agreement, or relevant standards concerning accessories and auxiliary equipment, the warranty period for motor accessories and complete equipment shall be consistent with that of the main motor.
When the motor, its accessories, or auxiliary systems reach the end of their service life—or when the user decides to replace them—it is recommended not to discard the old components directly. Instead, users should contact certified waste recovery organizations specializing in the disposal of solid, liquid, hazardous waste, and chemical materials to help minimize environmental pollution.
Before the trial run, remove any anti-rust paper placed between the slip ring and the brush. Ensure that the insulation resistance of the slip ring exceeds 10MΩ; otherwise, drying is required before energizing the motor. If the motor is operating in a humid environment, drying and dust removal should be performed before each startup to maintain optimal performance and safety.
